One of the most magical times of the year is starting, and it’s perfect for making plans and gathering with your friends… or staying inside with some hot chocolate and the fluffiest blanket you can find.
The beauty of fall is that all towns and cities seem to transform into scenes from a fantasy movie. The trees turn golden, the fallen leaves form a carpet on the street, and the sun rises, covering everything with soft warmth. You can go outside or look out the window, and no matter where you look, you’ll find something that could be the perfect frame for a photo.
It’s the season for pumpkins and apples, for soup and hot chocolate, for tea and coffee, for pumpkin spice lattes to take over Starbucks again. And it’s the season for all of us introverts to be happy and cozy! We’re already tired of summer outings, gatherings, and parties, and blah blah blah. Our social batteries are running lower than the depths of the abyss at this point. We might as well lock ourselves up and not talk to another human being for the rest of the month, but unfortunately, we still need to get out of the house to go to work.
Even so, now that we’re so close to the official beginning of fall, we have a lot more opportunities to pass from socializing. No one really wants to go to the park to sit in the cold, and pool parties are no longer a thing. We can spend our weekends trapped inside our house-caves preparing a warm soup with our grandma’s recipe, eating pumpkin pie, drinking tea, and sitting in front of the TV to watch all our favourite autumn movies and shows. It’s time to get the Gilmore Girls out of the freezer, enjoy Practical Magic one and two, and also call Jack Skellington for some Nightmare Before Christmas. Do you guys know if that’s supposed to be a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie? Because it’s kind of confusing, but it works so well for a cozy night in during autumn.
