If the parents are tweeting it, we’re here to be reading it.
Parenting can be an uphill battle. It’s not easy to drag yourself out of bed every day and be a parent. It’s not easy to drag yourself out of bed, period. Remember the days before kids when you had no responsibilities, and you could just literally chill in your house all day? You could order food and sleep in and watch a movie at 11 am if you wanted to. You could eat ice cream for dinner. You could leave the house for days without telling anyone. You could stay out past midnight and not have to find a babysitter. You could do exactly what you wanted to do, and nobody was there to tell you otherwise. This is the beauty of being a childless adult. But there are plenty of things about having children that make it all worth it. Like relating to these parenting tweets. If you couldn’t relate to these parenting tweets, then what would you have?
There is nothing better than a friend who just gets it. You don’t have to explain yourself to them; you just have to exist, and they know exactly what you mean and what you need. They don’t ask you what you’re on about; they are just perfectly on your wavelength. These tweets are kind of like having a friend like that.
