Can we rewind to vacation, please?

Yes, we get it. Vacation time is long gone, and we aren’t going on one any time soon. Now, it’s time to focus on work, school, getting back to the gym, eating healthy, and all of the things that come with the end of summer. But… sometimes it isn’t as easy as it sounds. Or at least for me. I’m usually pretty motivated when summer is over: I’m a Virgo, so a nice routine of eating clean and healthy food, working out, and sleeping my required 8 hours is music to my ears. But it ALWAYS comes to a time when my motivation is out the window, and I have to be disciplined to stick to this.

And when that time comes around, all I’d love to do is go back in time to my last summer vacation, when there was nothing to get done. No schedules, no alarms, and enough time to read and relax. It’s impossible, I know; that’s why my remedy is to go to the internet and scroll through vacation memes. It may sound silly, but at least I get to laugh a bit about my sorrow. I’ll say the best thing about vacation memes is that everyone feels the same way. They showcase the worldwide awesome feeling of going on vacation: the thrill, the excitement, the tiredness, and the urge to relax for once.

Now that I’m thinking about it… That’s what I miss about going on vacation. Because I know I love my job, my routine, the city where I live, etc. But daily life does get pretty boring and slow sometimes.
