25 Memes Gearing up for Halloweekend (October 28, 2026)

We’re officially in Halloweek, which means that Halloween is almost here. Are you prepared with the right memes?

I happen to love this time of year. It might even be my favorite holiday. It combines the best things: dressing up, hanging out with friends, trying something new, and candy. Plus, I love walking around the neighborhood, seeing all the houses decorated. There’s just something special about this time of year, and it’s a beautiful thing. There is plenty to do to prepare for it, and I hope you’re in for it. Personally, I’m spending some time this week to get my Halloween costume together. I’m not going to reveal it here, but I’m pretty excited about it. I’m a big fan of niche Halloween costumes, or funny Halloween costumes. The ones I don’t like are the low-effort ones. Don’t just slap three cut-out circles on your shirt and call yourself a 3-hole punch like Jim from The Office. No, you’ve got to put your back into it. You’ve had all year to prepare, so there is no excuse. Everyone is always so stressed about it, like Halloween isn’t on the same day every single year. How are you going to be stressed about it when you knew this was coming for 365 days? Don’t try me. Even if I don’t understand your costume, if I can tell you’ve put your heart and soul into it, I won’t care. It’s all about effort, especially if you’re going to a costume party. If someone is throwing something, then you better come prepared. I think it’s disrespectful to the host to show up in something you know doesn’t match the effort of the party. And what is Halloween about if not respect?
