One of the most consistently controversial new parent debates is how your baby is going to be fed. Some moms are adamant that they want to bypass the stress by going straight to formula, and others will bite your head off unless you suggest anything less than several years of dedicated human milk production.

The thing is, choosing between bottle and breast can be more complicated than just following the purported health benefits. Not every mom and baby is going to be able to breastfeed, and the kid isn’t necessarily going to be worse off because of it. 

However, it can’t be denied that those who do go natural have a mammoth task ahead of them. Using your body to make food is very cool, and it’s also very hard work. No wonder that so many of those experiencing it turn to memes as an outlet for their struggle. Just because it’s something we’re born to do doesn’t mean we can’t complain about it.
