Whenever my dad goes on vacation to somewhere new, he has one mission, and one mission alone: he has to find the nearest big grocery store. He simply cannot find peace and relax until he knows that he is within a several mile radius of a place where he can purchase a range of food, toiletries, and household products. 

The older I get, the more I understand this. Buying groceries is not only a necessity for most, but it also opens up a world of untold possibilities (particularly when you’re in a place that you don’t know very well). What meals could you commit to prepping this week, or what is it that you could be eating hunched over the sink at 3am in a couple days’ time? Only the grocery store can tell you, and the memes we have here strive to replicate that experience as best as possible.
