Welcome back, geeks. It’s time for another roundup of some of our favorite science fiction memes full of nerdy references to some of the best sci-fi movies ever made. Speaking of which, when was the last time you re-watched The Matrix?  That movie was released in 1999 and yet it still holds up amazingly well. I watched The Matrix over the weekend and even though I’ve literally seen it hundreds of times and despite all of its iconic 90s tropes, the movie still felt fresh and ahead of its time. Watching The Matrix also made me realize that we should totally bring back PVC clothing and tiny micro-sunglasses. Sometimes it feels like we as a society have brought about all the worst qualities of a techno-dystopia without any of the cool cyberpunk aesthetics, and I think that needs to change.
