What’s the best part about moving day? The end of moving day. 

It takes a very strong person with extreme mental strength to pluck up the courage to move houses. But when they do, no matter how powerful this human may be, even they dread the day that their calendar finally reads: it’s time to start packing.

First, it’s the scissors for the duct tape, then the duct tape for the boxes, then the boxes for the belongings, then the realization that you don’t need half the belongings hits, but you’ll haul them along ‘just in case.’ 

Now it’s time to call the movers, but of course, they cancel the morning of. So you’re left to test the loyalty of your friendships, only to discover that most of them mysteriously vanish. You head to the hardware store for some straps, and before you know it, your back hates you, you can’t see out your rearview mirror,  and your couch is strapped to the roof.
