If you go into my author bio, you will find out that I have been a part of the Tumblr community for quite some time now, about 15 years. It started as a way to connect to some fandoms that I desperately wanted to know, and continued because I enjoyed the humor and sense of community over there. Even now, 15 years since I created my first account on that website, I still find myself scrolling through it every few days. Admittedly, it is still mostly because you can find the best fandom posts on Tumblr, but also because it is the superior social media platform, and no one can convince me otherwise.

Only those who truly understand Tumblr know how great it is, and if we’re being completely honest with you, we like to keep it that way. We don’t need the popularity Tumblr had back in the day. Anyone who has stayed there truly appreciates that place, and we don’t need anyone else.
