It’s not even a full month into 2025 and it already feels like we have collectively lost our minds. Is there something in the air? Did someone slip crazy pills into the water system? How can things feel this chaotic and the year has JUST begun? What could we possibly do to stay sane? We could stick to our regular unhealthy coping mechanisms, like drinking, overeating, being mean to the people we love the most, lazing around, etc. Or… Or maybe we like… I don’t know, focus on bettering ourselves?
The weight of the world can be crushing, maybe we should prioritize getting our own Issues in order? Perhaps befriend the inner demands you’ve been trying to push deep deep down for so so long? That might help… Of course, that is easier said than done—that’s when a therapist comes in handy! They can help guide you on your journey to self-improvement. Or maybe not even improvement, but just a better understanding of your wants and needs, ya know? Everyone’s healing journey is different. For instant, ours (and maybe also yours) involves a lot of memes. That’s right, we are not ones to focus on things that hurt our hearts and not make a silly little joke or two about it. We gotta!
