Are you a gaming fan or a sci-fi zombie movie fan of Resident Evil?

I suppose you could be both, but there is quite the turmoil going on between those two types of fans right now. Fans of the films from the early 2000s are upset that the newest Resident Evil by Zach Cregger is non-canonical to their beloved campy versions. However, fans from the gaming community are ecstatic with the new film. Why? Many reasons, actually. One reason is that the film feels like a first-time gamer playing Resident Evil for the first time, and it is so hilarious and something every gamer has experienced. As a fan of both the game and the movies, this new one truly holds a special place in my heart. Plus, it’s spooky season, and I absolutely LOVE a good jump scare during this season. 

It turns out I am not the only one having thoughts and feelings about this new Resident Evil and some of the fans are just as funny as the dark horror comedy that happens in the films and game.
