I love summer! I love the warmer days, love the swimming pool, and overall the happy mood that can be felt around. But the thing that I love the most about this warmer season is sleeping with the AC. Yes, I know it is supposed to be bad for you and can cause you a lot of problems, but I cannot help it. There’s something so rewarding and so cozy about feeling cold during this time of year… it even feels impossible and cheating, in a way.

But who can blame me? With almost 100ºF every day outside, I’m not a bad person for wanting to feel some sort of coolness. And I’m the one who’s paying my power bill at the end of the month! 

Napping is one of those things that only gets better the older you get. When you’re a kid, you hate those summer naps, and all you want to do is be outside in the pool or at the beach, swimming and spending time with your siblings and cousins… those good old days. But as we grow older, napping in the summer just tastes completely different and, in my humble opinion, is the best kind of nap.

Pretending you’re in spring (or autumn) because of how low the temperature of the AC is is even addictive! Just be careful not to be wet from the pool or the sea, because then you’ll most likely get sick. But if you take all the precautions, you snuggle under a blanket and enjoy some quiet time with the cold air hitting your face… then you’re solid, and you’ll have the best.
