Sometimes you have to get back to the basics. It’s funny to see something fail. Just like we laugh at dudes wiping out when trying to ride a storage container lid like a snowboard down a hill, we will laugh when a Powerpuff Girl popsicle looks more like a yellow blob than a cartoon character. When things go wrong, we can either wallow in our disappointment, or we can let it tickle our funny bone. It’s up to us. When we set out to make a Cars-themed birthday cake for our sons, and no one could tell what we were even going for, we had to laugh. We laugh because otherwise we’d cry.
