Not every introvert is beholden to the indoors. A common misconception is that introverted people are always stuck inside because of their distaste for socializing, but that’s not entirely true. There are the outdoorsy introverts who set off into the wilderness to avoid people! Hiking in the wild, surrounded by nature, and enjoying the quiet, distant birdsongs of the forest, introverted people are quite happy to be on their own in the stillness of the outdoors.
That is, until some boneheaded socialite ruins the hiking trail with a JBL speaker blasting Fetty Wap.
Alas, the spell is broken, and introverted people are reminded why the outside world can be treacherously filled with unwanted social interaction, even on the trails. So, as an introvert shares a tight smile with a noisy passerby, lamenting the free parking lot at the trailhead, they’re reminded that tonight, they get to return to their home space to relax in the solace of a solo evening.
