24 Memes Circling the Drain

Routines are important. For most of us, we were in the routine of going to school every day until one day we were thrust out of it. We were used to waking up every day at a similar time, going to school where we saw the same people every day, being in the same building, and then coming home. Maybe we had sports or other activities that kept us busy, homework in between, and family obligations. This helped the day take shape. We knew generally what to expect and what the rhythms of the day were going to feel like.

This was because somebody else was in charge. We had to go to school because our parents were making us go. But when you’re an adult and you have a little more freedom, your sense of routine can fall by the wayside.
