Dogs love few things as much as they love hearing «Wanna go for a walk?» When we would say that around my dog, he would act like a kid on Christmas, except even more excited. It was his favorite thing to hear in the world. And he heard it every day. I wish I had something that I did every day that made me that level of excited. The closest I come to that is the feeling of waking up in the morning knowing that I will soon drink coffee. I get pretty excited about that. 

The great thing about dogs, though, is that their excitement rubs off on you. You may not be that excited to take them on a walk. Heck, you might even be dreading it. It’s cold outside and you don’t feel like talking to that neighbor you always run into. But you do it anyway because you know how happy it makes them, and you feel it too.
