It’s that time of year when dogs all over the land are forced to wear little booties to protect their little feeties from the elements. And it’s awesome. Dogs wearing clothing of any type are usually hilarious and adorable, but something about dog shoes is especially heartwarming. Maybe it’s because it makes them walk a little funny, like ponies in a parade. Maybe it’s because dog’s feet are already so cute, just looking at them. Whatever it is, I love it. Keep it coming!

I wonder if dogs know how much joy they bring us. I wonder if they comprehend how much they mean to us and how much our worlds center around them. I know they feel the love because they show it back. But I wonder if they know how we show pictures of them to our coworkers and first dates. I wonder if they know that their pictures are the backgrounds on our phones.
