We could all use more friends. Be honest. You probably have a group of friends that you love and cherish. You wouldn’t trade them for the world and you’re grateful for them every day. But that doesn’t mean you don’t have room in your life for a little bit more. Especially if that friend comes in fur. 

I don’t care what anyone says, a dog can be a friend. They are man’s best friend, after all. Sure, they may not be able to talk back to you in plain English, but they definitely communicate in their own way. When you’re around a dog for long enough you start to develop a secret language between the two of you. They know when you’re giving them instructions and will look at you while you do so. You know the difference between an «I want food» bark and an «I’d like some attention please» groan. You talk and share needs, just like any parent/child or perhaps dependent roommate dynamic.
