I feel like shower thoughts are stoner thoughts that still make sense in the light of day. A stoner thought is all like «Hey man, have you ever wondered how we don’t fall off the surface of the Earth?» Yeah, Jason. It’s called gravity. Now pass the hot Cheetos, you’ve been hogging them. But shower thoughts are usually more sophisticated, though no less far-out. Something about the hot steam, the smell of soap, and the time to relax gets our brains stretching to the farthest reaches. 

Now, what would happen if you put a stoner in a shower? You might get a thought so profound that it changes the paradigm of society. Or you might just get a guy who’s so blissed out that he falls asleep in the tub. To me, it’s worth the risk.
