Who gave the people born from 1900 to 1925 the right to call themselves «The Greatest Generation.» Most of them are not alive to defend themselves, but I don’t think they’re all that great. First of all, they were the parents of Baby Boomers. That should be enough to take the title of «greatest» away from them. I don’t want to go too hard on these people because they had tough lives. Many fought in World War II, lived through World War I and survived The Great Depression. As much as millennials like to complain about how many horrific historical events they witnessed, The Greatest Generation takes the cake as far as generational trauma goes. 

Just because Generation X isn’t the greatest generation» doesn’t mean they aren’t the coolest. If you believe that even in their middle-aged state, Gen Xers are cooler than millennials and Gen Z, these Gen X memes will rock your world.
