Thursday is kind of my favorite day of the week. Some people call it Friday Junior, some people call it Thirsty Thursday, and some special folks call it The Day After Hump Day. To me, Thursday has all the fun energy of anticipation of Friday, but without the anxiety that sometimes comes with actually trying to spend the weekend productively and restfully. Also, if you’re a going-out type, the Thursday crowd is going to be much more manageable than a weekend crowd. It’s the perfect combination of end-of-week spirit with weekday ease. Am I crazy, or do weekend days have a weird energy to them? Maybe I just need to learn how to relax. Maybe we all do.
