Did anyone else not realize how much work dating would take? When I was younger, I assumed it would be easy, fun, and something that you look forward to doing. But now that I’m older, I realize how draining the whole rigamarole can be. First, there’s the whole business of finding someone who you can tolerate enough to go out with, then you have to make plans, decide on a place, (are you having dinner or drinks or something else?) find the right outfit, and get all nervous, then you have to ask questions, talk about your life in a way that’s not off-putting, and then worry about how you’re going to proceed once it’s over. 

It’s not unlike finding a job. At a certain point, you just want it all to be over. So no wonder a lot of people stay single, whether they mean to or not. These memes are for those good folks who just haven’t made it happen yet. Here’s to ya.
