I put my port plug in your socket.» If you don’t remember that song, then we did not have the same online upbringing. To a young me, nothing was funnier than the music video for Elektronik Supersonik. It was the original (and better version of) Planet of the Bass. 

Those early YouTube videos that shaped early internet culture have a way of sticking with you like nothing else. I bet we could all say where we were when we first watched «Charlie Bit My Finger.» I was sitting in front of my mom’s desktop computer with some of the neighborhood kids. And my life was never the same after that. That was back when we would only really get one new meme per year, or at least that’s what it felt like. Now we get new memes every 15 minutes.
