Boo! We’re all out of cheese dip! How do you feel about that, Midwesterner? Pretty scared, right? Well, it’s Halloween, so it’s about dang time to be scared. The day is upon us, and all that is left to do is hand out candy. Remember to save the good candy bars for your favorite neighbors. Halloween in the Midwest is the best kind of Halloween. It’s kind of the most beautiful time of year here, with the changing foliage and the crisp air. But we do know how to quickly ruin a Halloween costume with a puffy winter coat. We can’t help it, it’s just the way we are. 

Midwesterners know how to party. We know how to knock them back and keep the party going. Who knows, we might just end up at White Castle in the early morning just to finish the night out. And this weekend is all about embracing being a Midwesterner who parties. We don’t have to hide that part of ourselves. We can let our freak flags fly this weekend, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
