Yeah, I’ll say it. I’m a movie buff. A film bro. A cinephile. Sue me. Some of my most formative moments as a teen were spent in front of my laptop screen late at night, watching movies that I couldn’t watch with my parents. Not even that they wouldn’t approve of them, just that they were too niche and embarrassing to bring up at family movie night. Okay, and they probably contained content too adult for a young teen’s eyes. But I’m grateful for that independent move time. It helped me develop my interests and feed my creativity at a young age. Now, as an adult, I have a wealth of movie knowledge on which to draw for trivia night. And I write pretty hilarious Letterboxd reviews.
