Sometimes you just need a quick bite of something funny. 

Sometimes comedy takes investment. You have to spend episodes buying into the characters before something can truly strike you as hilarious. At a stand-up venue, you have to buy a ticket, wait in line, and hope that whoever comes on stage shares at least a little bit of your sense of humor. On the internet, things have a way of happening a lot faster. You don’t have to put as much into it to get something out. You just have to show up at the right place at the right time, and the laughs will come. It’s a low-risk, high-reward type of situation. There are not a lot of those these days, so we should learn to recognize them when they come. This list of tweets is just that. 

Sure, they might not all tickle your funny bone. It’s nearly impossible to appeal to everyone at once. Especially on the internet, where everyone loves to be a contrarian. But these give a good effort nonetheless. And nothing bad will happen to you if you don’t like them. You can simply move on and up with your life, having them never cross your mind again.
