Parenting can take a lot out of you, literally. Not only do you have to give birth to the little guys, but you have to constantly pay for their lives. That’s what you signed up for when you decided to become a parent, but that doesn’t fully click into place until it’s happening. They’re constantly needing new clothes and shoes (guess what, they grow!) and reminding you of a bake sale approximately 12 hours before the start of that bake sale. Then you have to run out for some mini cupcakes that you will definitely try to pass off as your own. They have a way of springing those things on you. You just hope and pray that Kroger is still open. 

So all of that is why we need parenting tweets. We need little things that help us feel like we’re doing a better job. We need the support of other parents who can remind us that we’re in the right place, doing the right thing. Reassurance is not easy to come by as a parent, but these tweets offer that.
