The weather is warming, the sun is shining, and we’re figuring out what to do with all those miscellaneous cords knocking around our house. Maybe just throw them away. Spring is for a few things: drinking green beer at the beginning, eating marshmallow peeps, staying out of the rain, and cleaning our houses.
We’re shedding the stockpiling of the winter and getting ready for the newness of summer. We’re getting rid of stuff with reckless abandon, or we’re holding on to that sports bra from 9th grade because you might need it for a costume party one day (though that day has yet to come in 20 years). There are two types of cleaners: those who get it all done in the span of two hours in a manic fit, and those who spread it over a couple of days like a reasonable person. I am the first type, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
