If you were on a deserted island and you could only bring one movie with you, what would you take? Would you take a Star Wars film, or have you seen them too many times for them to be useful? Will you re-watch forever and ever or will you take the time to get into something else? Or maybe you just pick the longest move of all time to really get some bang for your buck. 

Re-watching is a funny practice. A lot of us do it for reasons we can’t fully explain. Some of us say it’s for comfort- we know what happens and we know we love it, so watching it is a safe, cozy place for us to live. Some of us say we do it to fully understand it- maybe there are details we missed the first time around or motifs we didn’t quite fully catch. And some of us re-watch Star Wars so that we can screengrab it and make memes from it.
