There’s something so appealing about attending a magical school for weird monster people like yourself. Of course, we all love X-Men over here, but this formula has been repeated several times elsewhere. Have any of y’all heard of the iconic film Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School? In this universe, Scooby and Shaggy get jobs as gym teachers at a school for the daughters of Halloween monsters. That doesn’t sound real, and yet, it plays on TV on repeat every Halloween season. Similar to that, there’s a doll line called the Monster High Dolls, which basically has the exact same premise. 

The cool thing about mutants is that their parents don’t wholly define them. Sure, they’re genetically predisposed to be the way they are, but they are able to forge their own destiny without Frankensteins’ monster or The Wolf Man hanging over them.
