We all like to think that we are forever children at heart. We (mostly) remember our childhood as the most carefree and relaxed time of our lives, and we would like to believe that we still carry some parts of that time with us. Accepting we are no longer children is also accepting that we would never get to relive those happy moments, and nobody wants to do that.

This makes me think about the scenes in Mary Poppins where Mr. Banks starts laughing in front of his bosses at the bank, and they all start flying around the room, laughing like they haven’t in years, probably since they were all kids. Even though I hope I will never forget what it feels like to laugh like that, those scenes also always remind me that it is never too late to awaken your inner child and connect to that child through humor and laughter.

While some can say that humor does not hold that much importance, I believe it is one of the most important things in our lives, and I encourage you to never let it go.
