Decorating a new space can be harder than it seems. You think you know what size furniture to buy, how high to hang your wall art, and what corner that armchair should go in, but you’ll be quickly humbled. These things aren’t as intuitive as they might seem. There are thousands of micro-decisions that go into designing a home that can make or break the way it looks. 

This is why most people should have a buddy to help them decorate their space. You need a second pair of eyes to tell you that that rug really doesn’t go with that couch, or that you probably shouldn’t have your Chewbacca Funko Pop be the focal point of the room.
