Group chats have their own polarity and their own gravity– some group chats create their own personalities and bring people together, while others fracture into smaller, more niche groups. This is why sometimes the same group chats meant to simplify friendships can actually complicate them. 

I personally have mixed feelings about group chats. They can be practical, but usually end up being tedious, impersonal, and largely unchecked.
