There’s something about a holiday weekend that makes the following week drag on and on and on. Maybe it’s because you get a quick feeling of freedom, of four days all to yourself and nobody else, to have four days back to the old grind. It’s funny how time passes is so subjective. If you’re miserable, everything goes so much slower than when you’re joyful and serene. It’s one of life’s greatest curses that the fun stuff slips through your fingers so quickly, never to be seen again except in your memory. 

The good news is that no matter how you swing it, the work week is halfway over! Thursday is usually a pretty solid day of the week in my experience, and we all know how thrilling and compelling Friday can be!
