Sometimes when somebody gets into a relationship, the biggest challenge isn’t living with the other person, but living with their family. Dealing with in-laws has been the issue that breaks up many otherwise stable connections, and it is not difficult to see why. It can be a shock to the system when you think that you have found the perfect partner, only to realize they come as a package deal with their overbearing family members attached. 

It is a situation that leaves many with a dilemma. Should a relationship be sacrificed because of who somebody is related to, or is it truly worth finding methods to deal with the family that you supposedly chose? These questions become even more pressing when you are under the same roof as your in-laws. If they are controlling, it can become a huge issue that leaves little choice in what to do for the sake of your quality of life.
