Before there was Nathan Fielder, there was Larry David. The original king of cringe. With the 12th (and final) season of Curb Your Enthusiasm coming up, Larry David is on the brain more than usual. Which, to be fair, is already a lot. He has a way of capturing human behavior in its weirdest, realest moments. Sometimes I have to pause the television because I’m cringing too hard. The situations on Curb feel so believable that it’s hard to remember that it’s fiction, and there’s a layer of protection between you and the awkwardness.
