A lot of people go to college in search of an education, and come out with something else. Whether that be a couple of thousand dollars in debt, an MRS degree, or a friend named Eduardo who will co-found The Facebook with you, there’s a lot more to attending university than simply acquiring a degree. The extraneous parts of college are often a big part of the appeal. There are guys who will go to college for the sole purpose of partying as much as they can and working as little as possible. There’s a reason «the college experience» is so appealing to young people, but not all extracurricular endeavors are worthwhile in the long run.
