It can be somewhat depressing to have a 9-to-5 job during the summer. Europeans and rich people are spending this time of year doing as little work as possible, and everyone else has to do the same job they do during the other colder seasons. I remember feeling so bored during summer vacation, but at least I had the time to spend at least 3 weeks of the year doing nothing but playing Yahtzee online. Maybe it’s better that I’m actually doing something valuable to society and not rotting away during the summertime.

The best part about having a 9-to-5 job in the summer is that you have an air-conditioned place you go to nearly every day. You also have a steady stream of income coming in that allows you to actually enjoy your summer when you do clock out. Also, it’s light outside for like 4 hours after work ends! What could be better than that?
