Happy Monday, futuristic fiction fanatics and galactic nerds! It’s time to kick off your week with a planetary collection of science fiction memes. Let’s talk sci-fi!

Like most people, I use entertainment as a means to escape the grueling realities of our everyday lives. There’s so much to turn to in terms of escapism; like movies and television. Some may choose fantasy, others may choose superhero movies. Wherever your tastes may lie, there’s something out there for you. However, when I want a break from the bleakness of reality, I choose a genre that is often bleaker than our current reality: science fiction. That’s not to say that all sci-fi is doom and gloom, it’s just that it’s a common trope. Like the Blade Runner series, one of my favorites. It’s a great example of how much worse things could and, at this point, possibly will get.
