When I was a kid, I was so into the glamour of hotels. I watched movies like Eloise at The Plaza and TV shows like The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and thought that being a blonde child running around in a fancy hotel would be the greatest possible life to live. Everything you could possibly need would be inside the walls of the hotel! Now that I’m an adult, I find myself empathizing with Mr. Moseby and Mr. Salamone. They were trying to run a fancy establishment and had to constantly deal with the antics of kids whose parents were God knows where. 

If you’re a hospitality worker reading this, I’m relatively confident that you don’t have a child protagonist living at your hotel full-time.
