It’s June, which means wedding season is fully upon us. Bridesmaids are donning ugly dresses, videographers are capturing all the wrong moments, and couples are tying the knot left right, and center. And weddings are all fun and good, but you seldom hear about what comes after. You put the rings on, head off for your honeymoon, and then what? A lifetime of deciding what to eat for dinner together? Of choosing what movie you’re going to fall asleep to? Arguing over who took the dog out last? Sounds pretty exciting. 

Of course, marriage is more than this, but it’s easy to get lost in the everyday. That’s why we have memes: to take the tension out of the mundane tensions that arise when you spend your life cohabitating with the same person. You can look at them together and laugh about your flaws, or you can passively-aggressively send them to your spouse.
