Variations on the Protestant work ethic haunt many a society in the world, leaving lots of people with the feeling that they are doing something wrong if they are not keeping busy all the time. Obviously, that isn’t true. In fact, if we want to be the most fulfilled and even productive versions of ourselves, it is important to set out an appropriate amount of time for rest.
