There’s nothing standing between you and a good gaming session except… maybe about 8 hours of work plus however long it takes you to make dinner and do your laundry. Adulting can be so boring. You get up, you drink your coffee, you go to work, you do your job, you eat a boring lunch, you do some tasks. The whole time you’re thinking about how your Sims are doing and how you wish you could check up on them.
You wish you could close your work computer, go home and fire up your gaming PC, boot up Dark Souls, and scare the pants off of yourself, just to feel something. This is the joy and the agony of gaming. You fall in love with it because it’s easy to fall in love with, and then you spend the rest of your time mildly agitated that you don’t get to do it 24/7.
