There are so many reasons I cannot imagine being a teacher, but one of the main ones is that I’d be completely outnumbered. Even if I taught at a school with a nice and low student-to-teacher ratio, those kids would always be able to overpower me if they decided to lay siege on my person. It is not easy to get a room full of snot-nosed brats to respect you, and I don’t think I’d be particularly great at it, even if I were amazing at teaching them The Great Gatsby. That’s another thing…imagine having to analyze The Great Gatsby the same way, like six times a day for six different classes. That would make me just a little bit batty. I admire teachers who stand up and instruct the children of the world every day, and if you’re one of them, I hope you enjoy these teacher memes.
