The world of retail is a wild place. It’s in a constant state of second guessing what the mighty consumer might want to spend their hard-earned money on next, and it can take some rather large leaps of faith when it does that. 

It’s no wonder that the genre of meme-worthy fake products is a popular one, because in some instances truth is stranger than fiction. Still, even the alternate universe of strange discontinued lines can’t compete with what some twisted people on the internet can come up with. 

While many of the examples below are strictly not for sale, they would certainly be bought for their novelty value if they were. That, or they’d be the center of some TikTok or YouTube trend where you try to eat them without grimacing. It’s probably best not to dwell on what goes through the heads of those who came up with these things.
