32 Memes For The Modern Meme Consumer

On occasion, I run into somebody that I can tell only knows about memes from 2016 and before. I’m not saying that’s a horrible thing to be, but it tells me that I can’t really talk to them about the online discourse that is running through my brain at any given moment. I have friends that are less online than me, and whenever I complain to them about something that’s happening on Twitter, it’s clear we can’t really discuss it in any meaningful way. They tend just to nod and be astounded by how much a stranger on the internet’s hijinx affects my emotional state. It’s honestly kind of a wake-up call. If you’re reading this and relating too hard, you’re in a safe place. I would never take away your culture because we are one and the same. Instead, I hope you enjoy these funny memes in these trying times.
