We can’t deny that there are some combinations that just go together perfectly, being the yin to something else’s yang. From night and day to bread and butter, there are countless dualities out there where it is almost impossible to imagine one without the other. Another such combination is having some time that you want to waste, and looking at memes. Has there ever before in recorded human history been something so vital to the act of procrastination? I would like to say no. How lucky we are to be at this magical point where our boredom will always have the possibility of meeting its soulmate in the form of internet humor. We can choose how we want to engage with this, too, whether scrolling for hours or keeping it short and sweet. A list like this offers the chance of the second option, although we all know it probably won’t end up like that.
