As the artist currently known as Pink once said, «Right, right, turn off the lights, we gonna lose our minds tonight. What’s the dealio?» And with that, she ushered us all into the party. She set the scene, laid out an objective, and then asked a provocative question. It’s the perfect way to launch yourself into the night. You may have had a dreary week, heartlessly fulfilling obligations. You may not have much left to give. You may be scraping together two brain cells just to make it work. You might be at the end of your rope, a rope that has been fraying for years and honestly needs replacing anyway. 

But now you’re ready to blow off some steam. You’re ready to give yourself over to the freedom and possibility of the night. You’re ready to get the party started. Oh wait, that’s a whole other Pink song.
