This is the time of year when you’re never the right temperature. If you go outside, you’re sweating like a sinner in church. If you go inside, the AC is so cranked up that you have to hold yourself to warm up your body. Even if you go to the beach, the sand is steaming hot, while the ocean is freezing. I wish that we could have a place to go in the summer where everything feels neutral. I’m sure there’s somewhere in your town that doesn’t have a broken air conditioner, but doesn’t air condition the place so much that you need a jacket. Maybe that’s an AMC theater or a Lululemon store. Whatever can make you feel comfortable during times of extreme weather conditions is a significant win. We won’t have normal weather again for a couple of months, so we might as well accept the hottest of the hot is here to stay and do our best to live with it.
