We’re coming up on two years of Elon Musk owning Twitter (now known as X) and oh, what a miserable two years they have been. After firing more than half the employees and nixing the iconic branding, Elon has created a new kind of Twitter, one where bots can roam as free as bunnies in meadows and being mean to him is cause for suspension. I’m one of the last to hold out on the app because I’m chronically online and addicted to other people’s takes, but I understand why a lot of companies and individuals have left X behind. I’m sure that the new policy getting rid of the «block» function as we know it will lead to even more flight from the site.
